Honey Roasted Pears
1 tbs Wild Rosemary EVOO
1/3 cup Vanilla Honey (found in store)
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/4 cup Pecans, rough chop
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (to serve)
Crisp Anjou Pear Balsamic, to drizzle on Ice Cream
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Cut pears in half or leave whole. If cutting in half use a spoon or tablespoon to remove the core. Rub the outside of the pears with EVOO.
In a small bowl combine half of the honey, half sugar shaker, and half extract. Place Pears in a baking dish and pour honey mixture over top.
Place pears in the oven for 15 minutes.
While the pears are cooking, in a bowl combine the rest of the honey, sugar shaker, and extract with the chopped pecans. Then when the 15 minutes is up for the pears pour the pecan mixture over top of the pears and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Once pears are done serve with a side of ice cream and a drizzle of balsamic.
