Blackberry Brie with Lavender Crostini
This delightful and delicious appetizer combines creamy brie cheese, sweet blackberries, and crispy lavender infused crostini for a perfect blend of flavors in every bite!

Ingredients:
1 Sheet Puff Pastry
8 oz Brie Wheel
Egg Wash - 1 Egg + 1 TBS Whipping Cream
1/2 Cup Fresh Blackberries
2 TBSP Mediterranean Rub
4 TBSP Lavender Infused EVOO
2 tsp Rosemary Sea Salt
Baguette, Sliced
1/8 tsp Fresh Ground Black Pepper
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 Degrees. Thaw and roll out the puff pastry into a 10×10 inch square. Cut about 2 inches off and save to cut dough for decorations.
In a small bowl crush half the blackberries with the rub and Blackberry Barrel Aged Balsamic, toss in the rest of the full berries.
Cut the top of the rind off the brie and top with the blackberry mixture, and a scrunch of black pepper.
Lay the puff pastry over the top of the cheese and berries and brush the edges of the puff pastry with the egg wash and fold the puff pastry under the cheese.
Use a cookie cutter, or braid left over puff pastry and arrange on top of the brie to your liking and brush with the egg wash.
Bake for 30-35 min, or until golden brown.
While baking, slice baguette and brush with olive oil and sprinkle with the rub and sea salt.
Bake for 10-12 min or until golden brown and serve with brie.
