Merchandise Return Policy
Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase for a refund. Returns require a copy of the receipt and returned merchandise must be in NEW and NOT USED condition with original packaging and instructions. Any refunds due should appear on your bank statement within 4-6 business days (please note that refund times are dictated by the payment provider and are outside our control).
If a discount was applied to your original order, the amount refunded will be adjusted to allow for the revised order value and appropriate discount level.
There are a few items we just can't take back, fresh poured olive oil, balsamic vinegar and chocolate are items we can't take back. We understand these rules seem a bit harsh and not what you are used to. We are indeed a small business. We pride ourselves on pouring fresh olive oil & vinegars that hasn't sat in heat or cool of car, exposed to light or exposed to air which oxidizes the oils & vinegars and therefore we can't resell or use. We invite you to try before you buy so you know you love what you are taking home 100%.
Cooking Class Cancellation Policy
Cooking class bookings can be canceled if it is at least 7 days prior to the class date. Any closer to the date and cooking classes are NON-REFUNDABLE, much like a sporting event or theater ticket. Be sure to mark the dates on your calendar. If you are unable to attend a class, you may send someone in your place or contact us to see if we have a waiting list. If we have a waiting list, we will TRY to sell your space for you. We do NOT guarantee that we will be able to sell your space. Please be aware, if the space is sold, you will receive a store credit good towards the purchase of future classes.
Damaged Merchandise Policy
If you receive damaged merchandise please keep all packing materials together and place the merchandise inside the original shipping box. If the merchandise was damaged in shipping, please call us at 208.883.3866 or write us an email to email@example.com please email a photo of damaged
goods and box. A claim will be filed with the shipping carrier, and the product/equipment will be replaced
at no extra charge.
Defective Product Policy
Ampersand stands behind its products and equipment. Should you receive defective merchandise, please contact the manufacturer to file a warranty claim. If you have further questions or need access to your
original receipt please contact us.
Items Not Returnable
All special order merchandise are a final sale and are not returnable. Grab Bags and product purchased in a Grab Bag are final sale. Any used product is not returnable, unless it is physically defective. Gift Cards and cooking classes are non-refundable and cannot be returned. We can't take back fresh poured olive oil or vinegar due to oxidization and same with chocolate. Extreme heat & cool destroy both those products and we just can't take them back. However, we do invite you to try almost ANYTHING in the store before you buy it, so you know you will love it.
