2 cups Flour
2 tsp Baking Soda
2 tsp ground Cinnamon
2 tsp ground Ginger
1 tsp ground Cloves
1/4 tsp Vanilla Bean Sea Salt
1 cup Light Brown Sugar, packed
1/4 cup Molasses
3/4 cup Blood Orange EVOO
1 Large Egg
Sugar & Spice Dipper
1. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, spices, and salt in a medium bowl. In a large bowl or electric mixer, combine brown sugar, molasses, olive oil, and egg and mix until smooth.
2. Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients to the wet with the mixer speed on med-low, stirring until just combined. Chill for 20 minutes.
3.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Scoop dough and roll into walnut sized balls.
Roll dough balls in Sugar & Spice Dipper and place on parchment paper lined
baking sheet about 2” apart.
4.Bake 8-10 minutes, the tops should be cracked but cookies will be soft. They
will firm up after a few minutes of cooling on baking sheet. Transfer to a wire
rack to cool completely.
